Location: Columbus OH
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 312 Days
Pay: $2689.20/week (plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus OH. The OR RN will provide high-quality perioperative care assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
- Provide direct patient care before during and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations maintaining a sterile field and anticipating procedural needs.
- Monitor patients conditions and respond promptly to any changes.
- Document all assessments interventions and patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong critical-thinking communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-acuity surgical environment.
