Job Description:

Sr. Engineer Product-Pump Systems Innovation Excellence (m/f/d)

The Sr. Level Engineer plays a critical technical role supporting the development enhancement and lifecycle management of existing products with a focus on Pump Systems throughout their lifecycle. This position is responsible for leading design and engineering activities supporting sustaining efforts and collaborating across functions to ensure product quality compliance and manufacturing scalability.

Design & Development:

Lead and execute detailed engineering design testing and validation activities for existing and new and refine product features and specifications in collaboration with cross-functional design for manufacturability cost efficiency and compliance with all industry standards and regulations.

Product Lifecycle & Sustaining Engineering:

Support ongoing product lifecycle initiatives including product updates improvements and root cause analysis and troubleshooting for field issues escalation of sustaining engineering requests and product enhancements aimed at operational efficiency performance and quality improvements across the product lifecycle

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams such as R&D manufacturing supply chain quality and external partners to drive project technical guidance during sourcing external development and external manufacturing in defining product features technical requirements and specifications aligned with business needs.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance:

Ensure engineering activities align with regulatory requirements and internal quality documentation validation and verification activities to maintain complianceProcess Optimization & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvements automation and design optimizations to enhance product quality and operational best practices in engineering and design for continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Leadership & Expertise:

Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers and other team informed on industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory updates relevant to cardiovascular product platforms and MedTech

Qualifications for Success:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Biomedical or related); Masters preferred8 years of experience in medical device engineering product development or sustaining engineeringDeep technical expertise in cardiovascular or related medical device platformsExperience supporting regulated product development (FDA ISO IEC standards)Strong problem-solving communication and team collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple projects efficiently and proactively

The anticipated base pay range for this position is75.000 EUR to 118450 EUR.
