Job Summary:
TheGlobal Event Manageris responsible forplanning and executing high-impact event experiences that engage audiences and support marketing and businessobjectives.As part of D2Ls Global Events Team within Marketing this roleincludes the planning and execution ofFusionour global annual user conference while alsosupportingotherevents in theNorth Americaregion andcollaborating closely withglobal and regional stakeholders.
You will lead the end-to-end execution ofD2Lproprietary and third-party sponsored events delivering experiences that generate leads influence pipeline strengthen brand momentum andshowcaseD2Ls customers products and services.
Thisis a16-monthcontactpositionthatoffers the opportunity to take ownership of a keyevents in themarket while gaining exposure to global programs stakeholders and best practices.
WhatYoullDo:
- Own the planning and execution of keyNorth America (NA)eventsfromconcept throughon-site execution andpost-event follow-up.
- Co-leadthe planning and execution ofFusionD2Lsglobal annual user conference.
- Partnerwith global and regional teams to deliver seamless high-quality event experiences.
- Coordinate eventlogistics production content creative messaging and technical requirements.
- Prepare and manage timelines budgets risks purchase requests and stakeholder communications.
- Liaise with and support speakers sponsors vendors and event staff.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues during planning andonsite atevents.
- Support event promotion registration engagement and follow-up across channels.
- Maintain the event calendar and communicate outcomes and insights internally.
- Stay informed on theNAevent landscape and emerging trends to continuously improve event impact.
WhatYoullBring:
- 3 years ofdemonstratedexperience managing end-to-end in-person events.
- Strong project management organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to think quickly under pressure solvecomplexproblems andadapt in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional alignment and accountability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through.
- Self-motivated and outgoingindividualwith the ability to work independently andcollaborativelywith others.
- Creative mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Writing or copywriting experience is an asset.
- Proficiencywith MS Excel and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) is an asset.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
