Are you passionate about making a difference in peoples lives NWRH is seeking a dedicatedAllied Health Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in this role you will support Allied Health Professionals by delivering client care assisting with therapy programs and contributing to service development and quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop resources for therapy and home programs
- Deliver 1:1 therapy under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals
- Contribute to client reports care planning and documentation
- Assist in facilitating group programs and home visits
- Support equipment management stocktake and calibration
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and service improvement initiatives
- Perform administrative tasks and respond to requests from team members
About You
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (essential)
- Excellent communication attention to detail time management and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Awareness of local health issues and experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Current C-class drivers licence and valid Blue & Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite (or willingness to learn)
- Australian or NZ Citizen Permanent Resident or eligible visa holder (no sponsorship provided)
Desirable: Experience with client information software such as Profile.
