Key Responsibilities:

The qualified applicant will support the Space Warfighting Analysis Centers (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Chantilly VA with anticipated travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of the SWACs priorities. The applicant will work closely with the SWAC program offices Department of the Air Force Headquarters and the Joint Staff to model joint operational scenarios missions and interdependencies at multiple classification levels. The qualified candidate will support SWAC Force Design Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts to include: capturing joint operational scenarios missions and interdependencies in SysML/UAF; translating operational analytic models and outputs into dynamic SysML models; creating UAF representations of space relevant mission threads and mission engineering threads; understanding and integrating SysML/UAF models both from within SWAC program offices and from analytic partners across the services; supporting maintenance and standardization of models in a SWAC Digital Engineering Library. The qualified candidate will be comfortable understanding strategic goals and defining tasks/scope aligned to strategic goals. The qualified candidate will be the MBSE expert during engagements with DAF Joint Staff and other DoD organizations. The candidate will translate complex technical information into products that communicate effectively to non-subject matter experts and will prepare correspondence and other documentation (formal letters position papers reports).

Qualifications:

Required:

• SAP eligibility is required
• Must have an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance and be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
• Ability to effectively work both independently and with a cross-country multi-disciplinary team
• STEM MS Degree is required and/or BA in STEM with 20 Years relevant experience
• 10 years MBSE in SysML/UAF experience
• 5 years space domain experience
• Experience with the United States Space Force (USSF) missions
• Ability to read and understand software code in order to identify and pull out relevant information according to modeling needs
• Ability to understand complex technical issues and produce recommendations for a wide audience
• Ability to apply critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environments
• Ability to quickly create decision quality materials for senior leaders
• Demonstrates strong communication skills (technical writing developing presentations etc.)

Desired:

• Existing or previous SAP access
• Current CI Polygraph
• STEM Masters Degree
• 12 years MBSE and SysML/UAF experience using CAMEO
• 7 years space domain experience
• Knowledge of Space Security and Defense Programs (SSDP) programs
• Knowledge of multi-domain missions and how space supports the joint fight
• Experience with space warfare and related enabling technologies
• Experience with DoD IC and Commercial Satellite systems in SCI/SAP environment

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
