Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver Aides to provide in-home support to clients in Saint Clair MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility and transferring ensuring their safety at all times.
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health conditions.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry cleaning and organizing.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Document care activities and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related healthcare role is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and families.
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
- Must pass background check and any required health screenings.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
