Position Summary:
Performs drug alcohol and functional tests for donors.
Compensation & Work Schedule:
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm CST Schedule will vary withing hours of operation.
On-call weekend rotation approximately one time per month.
Base Hourly Rate: $15 - $17
Essential functions:
Performs drug screen. May perform collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines which includes direct observation and possible oral swab sample collection. May perform breath alcohol testing following DOT alcohol testing guidelines. May perform hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines.
May perform pulmonary function testing using systems/instruments following OSHA Guidelines Audio metric hearing vision examinations blood pressure checks respiratory fit testing following OSHA Guidelines for quantitative fit testing or lab work requiring blood draws.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Drivers License.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.
Obtain DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Obtain DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Obtain DOT Hair Collection certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Computer skills including a basic skill level in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak hear have close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Walk (occasionally) sit- up to 8hrs. a day stand (occasionally) use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms able to lift-up to 40lbs.(occasionally).
