Job Summary

Following business growth we have a Commercial Insurance Claims Team Manager opportunity in Birmingham.
You will Lead a team of Claims Handlers who manage a portfolio of claims across multiple line of businesses including coverage analysis investigation evaluation of policy liability legal liability (where appropriate) and quantum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit coach mentor and lead team of claim adjusters handling claims
- Act as part of a team to ensure both Team and individual goals are met and to work with third party service providers to ensure claims service standards are maintained
- Work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards
- Represent Chubb at internal and external meetings
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Provide general assistance and support to senior claims adjusters managers and underwriters including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise
Qualifications
- Previous Claims management experience at Team Leader/supervisor level
- Cross line of business experience with Commercial Insurance experience being advantageous
- Competent in Microsoft Office with a sound understanding of the insurance/reinsurance market (preferred)
- Demonstration of practical and common sense approach to dealing with situations.
- Solid technical claims experience
