Job Title: America Reads Work Study
Location: Ellsworth Community College
Department: Education
Reports To: Education Faculty
Job Classification: Student non-exempt hourly timesheet
Rate of Pay: $9.00/hour
Summary:The purpose of this position is to read to and tutor elementary school children. Work is to be performed outside of class time. The length of employment is routinely the academic year (fall and spring terms); however some work may be performed during the summer as needed.
Job Duties:
- Read to elementary school children
- Tutor elementary school children in reading
Abilities:Fluent in the English language and the ability to communicate with elementary school-aged children.
Education and Experience:HS Diploma or equivalent
