As aCredit Risk & Process Analyst you will be the architect of our credit risk assessment solutions for the SME Micro and Retail digital lending space. Your primary mission is totranslate deep credit risk knowledge into best-in-class digital risk assessment concepts. Leveraging your expertise incredit policies scoring and capacity assessment- you willdefine requirementsanddesign efficient automated workflowsforcredit risk decisioning. You will serve as the crucial bridge between our Risk Business and IT teams ensuring that complex risk principles are clearly understood and flawlessly implemented. From initial concept and documentation to testing validation and post-launch monitoringyou will take care of the end-to-end process lifecycledriving the innovationthat keeps our lending solutions competitive and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Policy and Process Definition: Leverage your deep knowledge ofcredit risk processesandpolicies(includingscoringandcredit capacity) todefine business requirementsand guide the development of solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements Preparation: Design collect define and documentcredit risk requirements ensuring they are fully understood and implemented in the development of credit risk solutions.
Recognition of Market Standards: Identify market standards in credit risk assessment - recognising potential for designing of fully automated processes
Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration acrossRiskBusiness andITteams ensuring that both business and technical teams understand credit risk policies and requirements.
Process Design & Optimization: Co-design and optimizecredit risk processes applications and workflows to improve efficiency compliance and risk management.
Solution Testing & Validation: Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure that they meet both business requirements andcredit riskstandards. Provide feedback for improvements and adjustments.
Implementation Support: Prepare and maintain internal documentation for the implementation phase supporting a smooth deployment and ensuring that all necessary steps are followed.
Ongoing Monitoring & Maintenance: After implementation assist in themonitoringandmaintenanceof credit risk processes ensuring continuous alignment with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
Skills you should have
Strong understanding ofcredit risk processespoliciesscoringsanddecisioning rules.
Understanding of SME segment: Designcredit capacity methodsconsidering common financials data sources and taxation rules.
Ability to define key elements forautomated or semi-automated credit risk assessmentpurpose manage timelines and ensure deliverables meet expectations while working with both business and technical teams.
Experience in preparingdetailed documentationfor credit risk processes requirements and project progress.
Solid experience in thebankingorfinancial servicessector with a focus oncredit risk management.
Proficiency inSQLto analyze data and ensure alignment with business and risk requirements.
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess risk and define business solutions.
Education:degree inFinanceStatisticsComputer ScienceMathematicsEconometrics or a related field.
Fluency in English: Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
