Job responsibilities

As a SDE-2 on the team:
- You will own end to end implementation of large customer facing products starting from design architecture through implementation.
- You will participate in designing and implementing key functional areas of our system including applications and platform services.
- You will own designing and building functional components including code reviews testing deployment and post-launch monitoring
- You will get an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across Amazons website ecommerce and merchant technologies platform on the design and development of core platform functionality
- You will work with the business team and project managers to start with ambiguous and challenging problems convert them to functional requirements and build detailed technical specifications.
- You will work with engineers both onsite and offsite to define technical tasks and build detailed implementation plans.
- You will own operating our products driving excellence in feature stability performance and flexibility.


- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3 years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
