Job Title: Level 2 Network Operations Analyst
About the Role At DXC Technology we use the power of technology to deliver mission-critical IT services that move the world. As a Level 2 Network Operations Analyst you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and performance of our clients network environments. Youll lead technical investigations drive proactive monitoring and support continuous service improvement in a fast-paced multi-vendor ecosystem.
You will have a close relationship with our L1 technicians who provide 24x7 365 days a year support. This role will require the availability to work rotating shifts between 7am and 11pm as part of this support. Australian citizenship is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor and analyze network performance and health
- Serve as technical lead during Severity 1 and 2 incidents
- Participate in Change and Emergency Work Order (EWO) review boards
- Implement approved network changes and enhancements
- Drive problem management and root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives
- Execute IMAC (Install Move Add Change) activities
- Investigate diagnose and validate escalated incidents
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field
- 35 years of experience in networking or network operations
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
- CCNA certification required; CCNP or CIPE certification is a plus
Technical Proficiency
- Comprehensive understanding of Cisco networking devices including Meraki
- Advanced knowledge of Palto Alto.
- Comprehensive understanding of SD-WAN technology
- HPN devices (H3C ProCurve 3Com Aruba) optional
- F5 technologies
