Pay Rate/Range: $17-20/hr
Description:Seeking an Assembler to drill deburr and assemble sheet metal components while following blueprints work orders and engineering instructions. This role involves installing hardware such as ground studs nutplates and bonding materials as well as performing repair and rework as needed to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and repair sheet metal components per process specifications and blueprints
Drill rivet countersink trim grind and buff parts to meet required specifications
Pull parts report shortages and properly clean and load components
Work with various gauges of aluminum and sheet metal materials
Identify and report defective materials tools or equipment
Complete rework as required and maintain quality and safety standards
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred (pre-employment assessment required if not)
Prior aircraft or sheet metal assembly experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience using precision measuring tools and hand tools
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm
