Job Summary

The Asset Protection Auditor is responsible for conducting asset protection audits to mitigate shrink damage and security exposure in a distribution center. They participate and support the safety program and safety committee. This role supports inventory control as needed to drive quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executes the weekly monthly and quarterly aspects for the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Asset Protection Audit Program including all subsequent data entry reporting and scorecard updates to leadership.
  • Provides support as necessary for the Asset Protection Officers and Production Process Preparation (3P) Security Guards regarding front desk and gate house operations.
  • Conducts monthly building security inspections via the Security Walk. Addresses and resolves identified problems.
  • Validates specific functions where direct financial risk exists (e.g. inventory adjustments cycle counts).
  • Provides audit support where necessary.
  • Executes the retail RDC truck salt program providing subsequent data entry reporting and scorecard updates.
  • Assist the RDC Asset Protection Manager in the duties of running the Asset Protection Department and Program.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Able to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of security experience
  • 2 years of auditing or inventory control experience
  • Forklift certification
