Commercial Finance Intern

Position Summary

The Commercial Finance Intern will support the Commercial Finance team with revenue and cost modeling P&L reporting and forecasting and financial analysis. This internship provides hands-on exposure to financial operations and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A Accounting Operations and Construction Resources various business units.

This role is fully onsite at our headquarters in Decatur GA.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recurring daily weekly and monthly financial reporting

• Support revenue and cost modeling initiatives

• Help prepare P&L reports and forecasting analyses

• Build and enhance reporting tools to support commercial operations

• Develop reports and analysis for ad hoc business requests

• Conduct research and prepare documentation in support of department projects

• Maintain accurate financial records and data relevant to the department

• Collaborate and communicate regularly with cross-functional teams

• Attend team meetings and actively participate in discussions

• Uphold Construction Resources standards for professionalism teamwork and customer service

• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals

Qualifications

Education

• Actively pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field

• Prior coursework in finance accounting or business-related disciplines

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to learn new systems and technical skills quickly

• Ability to work onsite as required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Fully onsite position located at Construction Resources Headquarters:
  196 Rio Circle Decatur GA

• Housing is not provided; interns are responsible for securing their own living arrangements

• Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 20 pounds may be required
