Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY:

The US Prostate Cancer Business is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within Pfizer Oncology. The portfolio includes three in-line brands (ORGOVYX XTANDI and TALZENNA).

ORGOVYX is a treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer that received FDA approval in Dec 2020 and launched in early 2021 with our co-promote partner Sumitomo Pharma America Inc. ORGOVYX is a priority brand and key growth driver for the Prostate Cancer Portfolio. It has delivered double digit growth every year since launch. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fast-paced co-promote with a high performing team and to support patients with advanced prostate cancer.

The HCP Marketing Senior Manager role is critical in delivering the HCP strategy through field force promotions. This role will lead efforts to develop critical promotional materials partner with sales on national/regional meetings and work closely with the HCP lead on creative campaign development / pull through and message evolution. This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead high impact tactical initiatives as well as engage and partner closely with the field force. Additionally this role will work across the broader HCP team including the P2P/congress lead and NPP/omnichannel lead to ensure synergistic and cohesive execution of the HCP strategy.

This role requires strong strategic and analytical thinking clear and concise communication skills proficient project management skills vendor management expertise creativity and a proven track record of success working on a large matrix team. This role also requires significant collaboration with the broader US Commercial team within Pfizer and our co-promote partner Legal Medical Regulatory Sales Agency partners and various other internal and external stakeholders.

The role will report to the US Team Lead for Orgovyx.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development of HCP promotional resources for the field force e.g. CVA objection handler therapy management etc.

  • Collaborate with HCP lead to develop and execute the new creative campaign including messaging evolution and pull through

  • Co-lead the execution of national / regional sales meetings

  • Collaborate with access leads to develop and pull through aligned access / affordability initiatives and messaging

  • Continuously measure overall performance and KPIs of marketing initiatives streamline content and actively identify gaps or optimizations for new content

  • Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical market analytics field force and prescribers and translate into actionable strategies

  • Lead the management of PROMPT and inventory management across the alliance to ensure availability of resources to the field force

  • Manage projects through both joint alliance RC and Pfizer-only RC to ensure compliance and impact

  • Oversee and manage agency partners and vendors to complete projects within approved budget and time frames

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelors Degree required

  • 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing required

  • Previous in-line US marketing experience

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with ability to obtain and evaluate data to identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights

  • Strong team player with ability to navigate internal and co-promote organization/ processes to achieve endorsement of innovative approaches

  • High-energy proactive self-starter who takes initiative can function autonomously and has the confidence and ingenuity to initiate and create

  • Excellent communication skills for a wide variety of audiences including senior management

  • Strong project management skills demonstrated ability to develop drive execute and measure the impact of complex marketing programs and lead multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to move fast in response to what is happening in the external marketplace

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oncology specialty or rare disease marketing experience

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • Champion innovation seek learnings from other brands and other industry to innovate and enhance plan

  • Fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead colleagues outside of a direct reporting relationship through influence and persuasion.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and complex white space environments

  • Agile mindset; Track record of pushing boundaries and not accepting status quo finding ways to deliver in the face of accelerated deadlines

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Domestic travel of up to 25%

  • May need to travel / work over weekend or evening hours to cover select conference activities

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124400.00 to $201400.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
