Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for assigned White Glove Payroll clients with a focus on accuracy timeliness and personalized service
- Serve as the primary relationship advisor for client payroll needs
- Provide proactive communication and guidance on payroll best practices and compliance matters
- Review and audit payroll data including earnings deductions taxes and benefits
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues with urgency and professionalism
- Maintain detailed and organized payroll records and client documentation
- Support quarter-end and year-end activities including tax filings and W-2 processing
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the White Glove client experience
- Elevate and support team members sharing knowledge and best practices
- Stay current on payroll legislation technology updates and industry trends
Qualifications
Experience
- 5 years of progressive hands-on payroll experience including multi-state payroll
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (experience with client-facing payroll platforms preferred)
Skills and Competencies
- Commitment to delivering a White Glove client-first service experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and ensure deadlines are met
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Collaborative mindset with leadership and mentoring strengths
Work Environment
- Fully remote work environment with a focus on independent screen-based work
- Structured workflow with predictable payroll cycles and deadlines
