Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The LITS Events and Engagement Student Worker works closely with the members of the LITS Events and Engagement Committee to help with planning production and promotion of library events and outreach initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing LITS social media
Creating library displays
Assisting with LITS events and outreach
Capturing media for or writing content for LITS promotional materials
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creativity and proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Cloud)
Experience creating content for social media platforms (e.g. Instagram Facebook)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Dependable with keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Physical ability to stand for up to 3 hours; bend lift up to 25 pounds; push a loaded book cart
Must have a work award and be able to work at least 3 hours per week
