Our Business Tax Services (BTS) group focuses on the critical impact of tax on business and personal ambitions going beyond obligations to uncover opportunities and manage risks. We cater to a diverse clientele including privately held and family-owned businesses individuals family offices public corporations and tax-exempt organizations leveraging our industry expertise and global insights to help our clients navigate todays economy and shape a lasting legacy.
Configure and calculate client research credits using EYs specialized platform EY R&D Incentives Prodigy.
Utilize tools like Excel Alteryx Access and Python to analyze and refine client data for accurate tax processing.
Conduct precise tax calculations and review reports generated by EY R&D Incentives Prodigy and other depreciation software.
Create web applications within Alteryx to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Detect and communicate any data-related complexities or issues to the Services Manager for resolution.
Job requirements and preferences:
Required qualifications:
o A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting Computer Science Business Analytics or related field; supported by a strong academic record.
o Practical experience using Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ability to learn other software applications.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
o Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A drivers license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

o Ability to assimilate new knowledge.
o Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-add analytics solutions.
o Excellent teaming skills and willingness to lead client projects from a data perspective in the future.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including data complexity/issue identification and communication to upper-level team members.
o Strong critical thinking skills and ability to interpret data.
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
