General Housekeeping Assistant

We are looking for a General Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the beautiful five-star plus Old Bank Hotel which is part of The Oxford Collection; a small privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel the Old Parsonage Hotel 36 St Giles Parsonage Grill Gees Restaurant & Bar and Quod Restaurant & Bar. Having recently undergone a complete refurbishment programme we have 80 bedrooms across three iconic properties in central Oxford with unrivalled views across the citys beautiful skyline.

Our Housekeeping team is key in providing the highest level of cleanliness for our hotel and restaurant guests. You will be keen and hardworking with an interest in hospitality.

General Housekeeping Assistantresponsibilities:

• To assist in receiving/unpacking/storing any housekeeping deliveries
• Ensure all back of house and building external areas are clean and tidy
• Setting up extra beds baby cots when required and making beds
• Carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by the Head Housekeeper and Deputy Head Housekeeper

Requirements for the role:

• Thrive on giving guests a memorable experience
• Be able to work under pressure
• Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Have high-level attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude with a keen willingness to learn
• Experience working in a similar hotel (beneficial although full training will be provided)
• Maintaining a polite and professional manner at all times

We offer an OTE up to 13.00 per hour 21970 per annum including non-contractual service charge (tronc). Working 32.5-hours per week 9am-3.30pm (Mon-Sat) 9.30am-4pm (Sundays) rota-based system with 2 days off each week.
