ECT oversees field employee mobilization and demobilization processes and ensures company databases are kept current and accurate.
Job Description
What youll do:
- Receive and create new jobs and employee assignments in company databases.
- Update and maintain company databases with employee job and financial information.
- Interact with field employees to provide information regarding job assignments.
- Ensure travel costs align with FieldCores cost management objectives (flights accommodation vehicle hire).
- Generate and manage multiple reports for business partners as required.
- Assist with the development and testing of system modifications within FieldCore systems and databases.
- Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of field employees to ensure timely arrival at and departure from job sites.
- Update employee status in company databases.
- Initiate requests and follow up on information in the GE Travel Advisory System (TAS).
- Update and maintain accurate pay cost and bill rates as well as site and project information.
- Understand and follow Master Service Agreements for job setup activities for the supported business.
- Validate financial information in GE financial systems (IBS).
- Assist the management team with employee payroll and corporate credit card issues.
- Support segment conferences and/or training events.
- Initiate cases with outside counsel to procure visas and work permits.
- Communicate with government agencies to obtain certification of documents.
- Fulfill requests for Letters of Invitation as needed.
- Provide guidance to employees and Field Business Operations teams regarding documentation costs and timelines for visa and work permit applications.
- Ensure all immigration and work permit documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track visa and work permit progress and keep business partners informed.
- Maintain immigration tools and files for employees on foreign assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What youll bring:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Management information systems Public Administration and/or an equivalent degree related to Administration or Management
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience.
