Hands-on expertise in:
o DAM migrations & transformation programs
Metadata schema namespaces XMP tagging frameworks
Taxonomy creation and governance
Permissions & ACLs for large enterprise DAM setups
AEM Asset Search configuration & custom predicates
Asset reporting usage metrics operational dashboards
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
Ability to articulate business value and translate technical capabilities into customer outcomes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as:
o AEM Business Practitioner
o Scrum/Agile PO certifications (CSPO SAFe PO/PM)
Experience with integrations such as Workfront PIM systems or custom ingestion pipelines.
Exposure to enterprise-level content governance frameworks.
Job Description
The AEM Product Owner will lead the vision strategy and delivery of digital experiences and asset workflows built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role requires deep expertise in AEM Assets (DAM) including metadata modeling taxonomy design asset migration permissions/ACL frameworks search configurations and reporting. Beyond delivery oversight this role emphasizes value-based product ownership ensuring customer KPIs and business outcomes remain central to execution.
The Product Owner acts as the bridge between business development teams and customer stakeholders-driving clarity prioritization and value realization across the AEM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Vision
Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for AEM Assets-driven experiences.
Align product strategy with customer business objectives measurable KPIs and value realization targets.
Drive discussions with customer stakeholders to establish refine and track key KPIs ensuring the team focuses on value not just output.
2. Backlog Ownership & Prioritization
Create maintain and prioritize the product backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
Evaluate work based on business value customer impact ROI risk reduction and strategic alignment.
Collaborate with technical architects to ensure feasibility technical integrity and alignment with AEM best practices.
3. AEM DAM Expertise & Implementation Leadership
Lead and guide initiatives involving:
o DAM migration (asset ingestion mapping validation cleanup).
o Metadata schema creation & governance.
o Taxonomy design controlled vocabularies folder structures tagging framework.
o Permissions & ACL configurations for authors reviewers external agencies.
o Search filters facets predicates and UI configurations.
o Reporting & analytics around asset usage adoption findability and operation
