About the Job

Our client is seeking an experienced Aviation Engineer & Toolmaker to support their FAA Part 145 MRO Repair Station. This role provides engineering support for aircraft component repair and is responsible for designing and fabricating specialized tooling and fixtures to ensure safe efficient and compliant maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for aircraft maintenance and repair activities
Interpret technical manuals drawings and service bulletins
Design fabricate and maintain special tools and fixtures
Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 regulations
Support troubleshooting root cause analysis and continuous process improvements
Maintain accurate and compliant technical documentation

Qualifications

Experience in a Part 145 MRO environment preferred
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations preferred
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar)
Hands-on machining and toolmaking experience
