Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Assemble disassemble and/or modify aerospace systems and components to correct failures or implement changes
-
Oversee assembly disassembly and overhaul activities
-
Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
-
Troubleshoot complex pneumatic hydraulic structural and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components
-
Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
-
Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness compliance
-
Document maintenance actions repairs test results modifications and inspection outcomes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
-
Support and oversee training requirements
-
Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED AND 4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school Associate degree 2 years of related work experience Bachelors degree etc.)

Applicable and appropriate educational and/or certification credentials from an accredited institution are required.

Strong eagerness to learn
-
Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
-
Ability to prioritize and complete all required training and qualification requirements in a timely manner to meet contractual regulatory and operational expectations

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of C-17 specific experience
-
U.S. Air Force maintenance experience
-
Structural maintenance experience
-
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
