Position Responsibilities:

  • Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Ensures product technical integration process compliance and regulatory standards for 787 Wing & Empennage.

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering.

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives. Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.

  • Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical Civil Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

  • 5 years of experience in structural engineering

  • 3 years of experience leading engineering teams

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.

  • Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative solutions in engineering challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability in team building coaching and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to all stakeholders.

  • Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
