Job Summary

Role:Test Engineer

Location: Monroe WA (Onsite)

Visa: USC

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and run automated tests for electro-mechanical and hydraulic actuation components
Troubleshoot all aspects of test systems
Work with multi-axis hydraulic loading systems thermal control systems motor controls loading systems and data acquisition systems
Maintain software and calibration of test equipment
Develop software for test automation and data acquisition
Support external lab testing (vibration altitude humidity icing etc.)
Design and assemble data acquisition and control systems

Education & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical Aerospace Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience or relevant aviation technical experience

Qualifications:

Familiarity with LabVIEW MATLAB/Simulink MathCAD preferred
Knowledge or experience with:
- Hydraulic actuators (internal locking & non-locking)
- Hydraulic valves reservoirs accumulators pumps
- Hydraulic power packs
- Linear & rotary electro-mechanical actuators
- Ball-screws roller screws ACME screws
- Gears splines planetary gear sets
- Electronic enclosures
Experience with:
- Regulatory qualification and certification requirements
- Vibration testing and modes
- Thermal considerations for similar systems
- Fatigue endurance temperature limit/ultimate load testing
- Column buckling proof/burst pressure impulse testing
- Motors and controls
Demonstrated technical and organizational leadership
Strong analytical mathematical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Access)
Ability to learn new software quickly
Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects
