About Newton Park

Newton Park is a community-focused non-profit sports facility dedicated to providing a safe clean and welcoming environment for athletes families and visitors. We host a variety of sporting events and community activities year-round and are looking for dependable energetic Team Members to help us deliver a great experience for everyone who walks through our gates. We are located in Lakeville IN at 801 N. Michigan Street.

Position Summary

The Team Member plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness organization and overall operations of Newton Park. This position may support multiple areas of the facility including concessions field preparation and general grounds maintenance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment staying active and contributing to a positive community atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Concessions Support

• Operate concession stand and provide friendly customer service
• Prepare and serve food and beverages
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession areas and bathrooms

Facility & Grounds Support

• Pick up trash and maintain clean grounds throughout events
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Prepare fields and facilities for upcoming games and events
• Break down and reset spaces between events
• Assist with general event setup and teardown

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual especially for evening and weekend shifts
• Friendly and customer-service oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors and being on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 2550 pounds
• Previous customer service or facility experience is a plus but not required
