Job Summary

Acrisure is seeking aDirector Finance Services & Automation Governance & Operational Excellenceto join our growing team inGrand Rapids.TheDirector FSA Governance & Operational Excellenceis a senior leadership role responsible for defining governing and operationalizing how work is prioritized executed and continuously improved across the Finance Systems & Automation (FSA) organization. This leader partners closely with Finance IT and enterprise stakeholders to ensuredisciplined governance strong operational performance scalable Workday processes andSOX compliantcontrols supporting both current operations and IPO readiness.

This role providesdirect people leadership develops high performing teams and serves as the strategic owner forServiceNow enabledwork intake Workday case management oversight and operational excellence across FSA.

Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead coach and develop a team responsible for governance and operational oversight of the Workday platform.
  • Establish clear roles accountabilities and performance expectations aligned to FSA priorities
  • Build capability across the team inprocess ownershiproot causeanalysis and continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of accountability transparency and operational excellence

Work In-Take Process & Platform Enablement

  • Provide strategic ownership forwork in-take process design and administrationsupporting FSA ways of working
  • Partner with IT FSA and Finance stakeholders to continuously improve: Work intake forms and workflow design automation and workflow efficiency opportunities Agile 2.0 sprint planning backlog prioritization and execution models
  • Ensure development and maintenance ofHow Toguides playbooks and internal documentationto enable scalable adoption andself service
  • Drive alignment between platform capabilities and business outcomes

Governance & Demand Management

  • Own thegovernance model for enhancement requests ensuring prioritization of thehighest valuework
  • Guide teams and stakeholders in articulatingbusiness value expected outcomes and initial LOE estimates
  • Facilitategovernance forums and executive stakeholder discussions including preparation ofdecision readymaterials
  • Ensure transparency and consistency indecision makingacross the FSA portfolio

Operational Incident Oversight & Performance Management

  • Provide executive oversight ofoperational incidents case management and service delivery
  • Establish andmaintaindashboards KPIs and performance metricsto measure operational health and effectiveness
  • Leadmonthly operational reviewswith FSA leadership highlighting performance trends risks and improvement opportunities
  • Serve as thePrimary Workday Named Support Contact (NSC):
  • Oversee Workday Case Management processes
  • Ensure fullutilizationof the Workday Success Plan (Ask an Expert training certifications)
  • Develop FSA functional leaders and team members toown theirend to endprocesses(e.g. Accounting Close Journals Supplier Invoice)
  • Drive elimination ofrecurring issuesthroughroot causeanalysis and sustainable process improvements

SOX Risk Management & IPO Readiness

  • Provide leadership and oversight forSOXrelatedactivitieswithin FSA
  • Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysisand risk mitigation
  • Production admin security oversight including periodic access reviews
  • Change management standards documentation testing evidence and production readiness
  • Partner with Internal Audit IT and Finance leadership to ensure compliance with control expectations
  • SupportIPO readiness efforts ensuring governance controls and documentation meet regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drivecross-functionaloutcomes

  • Ability to multitask prioritize work independently and use discretion surrounding sensitive information

Education and Experience

  • 7 years of experience infinance operations enterprise systems governance or operational excellence
  • 3 years ofpeople leadership experience including coaching and performance management
  • Stronghands onexperience withServiceNow workflow/process administration
  • Direct experience working withWorkday including case management and vendor support models
  • Demonstrated experienceoperatinginSOXcontrolledenvironments
  • ServiceNow and Workday work experience preferred
  • Experience supporting Finance Shared Services or Accounting operations preferred
  • Experience implementing governance models at scale preferred
  • Exposure toIPO preparation or major regulatory transformationspreferred

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $181390 - $245410. This range reflects Acrisures good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications location and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration team leadership and cross-functional partnership.
