Job Title: Transformation Lead
Current Need
McKesson is continually transforming its operating modelin order tomore effectively support execution of its enterprise strategy and priorities.We areseekingahigh-performing execution-focusedTransformationLeadtohelp drivethe success ofa highly complex high-impact initiative working in collaboration with leadership across key corporate functions.
Thiscritical team contributorwill serve as a key programexecutorand integratorof activities necessary toaccelerateenterprise operating model transformation initiatives ensuring seamless crossfunctional execution.TheTransformation Leadwill drive execution across multiple workstreams coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure progress against milestones. The role requires anenterprise-minded teamplayerwith deepexperience inmoving workstreams and work products forward in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (sometimes with competing interests) who can work independentlyor collaboratively as required by the situation influence without authority and thrive in a fast-paced matrixed environment.

1.TransformationProgram Execution Develop and project managethe planning tracking and execution of multiple workstreams ensuring alignment with enterpriseobjectivesand milestone delivery. Support the developmentand forward progress in executionofgovernance and exit plansissue / riskidentification andmitigation andtransformationreadiness. Coordinateexecutionroadmappingand supportestablishment of alignedteams technologies and services.
2.Hands-On Delivery & Problem Solving Demonstrate a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to executionno matter the task. Take ownership of deliverablesfacilitateworkshops and step into operational gaps as needed.Serve as a critical thought partner to program leadership on effective approaches to efficiently and effectively deliver program deliverablesand activitiesto satisfy multiple senior-level stakeholder groupsacrossthe enterprise.
3.Cross-Functional ProgramIntegration and Collaboration Serve as akeyintegrator across corporate functions and business units working closely withtransformation initiative leads / team membersfunctional leaders and external partners.Identifyand escalate risks resolve cross-functional issues and ensure alignment across workstreams.
4.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Engage with leaders and functional stakeholdersat all levelsto drive alignment and transparency. Preparepresentationmaterials and updates for Steering Committees EOTOversight Committeeand other governance forums.Create deliverables as needed to move the program forward in an effective and efficient manner.Provide insight to leaders about how to better engage critical stakeholders to move theobjectivesof the program forward.
5.Transformation Support Support transformation initiatives including capability modernizationissue / riskidentification &mitigationvalue capture / trackingand operating model design. Collaborate with functional teams to define and execute future-state roadmaps.
Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge Skills & Abilities):
Education/Training Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Business Experience
7 years of relevant experience in strategy operations or large-scale program delivery in a large corporate environment.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment is essential.
Experience in senior executive / EOT / Board-level deliverables and communications development preferred.
Demonstrated success in executing complex programs within and across McKesson is valued as highly as tenure.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
Strong deliverables and project management and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Experience supporting or leading corporate separations spin-offs or carve-outs preferred but not required.
Exceptional attention to detail and a mindset to drive towards mitigating program risks and resolving issues as they arise.
Ability to influence without direct authority and build trust across functions.
Comfort operating independently and escalating when needed.
Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
Working Conditions: Environment (Office warehouse etc.) Traditional office environment with remote working flexibility. Some travel required for executive engagements workshops and other program activities as needed.
Physical Requirements (Lifting standing etc.)
Large percent of time performing computer based work is required. Occasional travel and extended ;hours during critical program phases.
