JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective

The Associate Director of Clinical Services operates with oversight and guidance from the Director of Clinical Services for carrying out the essential duties and responsibilities outlined below to provide overall leadership quality assurance managerial and administrative support for BCOTB. The Associate Director of Clinical Services supports both the operations team as well as the Clinical Coordinators by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned clinics by ensuring consistent execution of established policies and procedures in compliance with company standards. This position provides leadership supervision and support to the Clinical Coordinators at each facility. This position builds positive professional and productive relationships with all staff consistently employing accountability measures and support techniques to ensure success and achievement of personal and company goals and implementation of clinical programs and initiatives. This role assists the Director of Clinical Services to act as a liaison between the clinical coordinators and their facilities and the company.
Essential Duties
  1. Assists the Director of Clinical Services with supervising and supporting Clinical Coordinators & other members of the clinical management team (e.g. Clinical Programs and Training Coordinator)
    1. Ensures that the Clinical Coordinators meet with their clinical staff at least on a quarterly basis and that the tiers are up to date
    2. Ensures clinical competencies have been completed as established by the timelines
    3. Follows through with tasks delegated while upholding company standards
    4. Ensures that the Clinical Coordinators are enforcing the company handbook and notifying HR of issues as they arise
    5. Ensures that the Clinical Coordinators are following the Clinical Coordinator Manual and completing all necessary tasks by established deadlines
  2. Maintains oversight on the performance and management of each facility
    1. Manages own facility and staff to company standards for Clinical Coordinators
    2. Monitors clinic(s) productivity in terms of billable time and implements creative solutions as needed to maximize productivity and revenue
    3. Ensures that the proper line therapist or BCBA is staffed for sessions in an effort to maximize billable time
    4. Case management oversight: monitors utilization of all services as well takes corrective action as needed (reviewing use of supervision parent training assessment time etc.)
  3. Monitors clinical integrity inclusive of Rethink clinical processes and maximizes efficiencies mitigates costs and streamlines services
    1. Completes clinical audits for clients and provides feedback to case managers
    2. Makes sure clinical competencies are up to date company-wide
    3. Ensures the correct assessment tools and curricula are used
    4. Ensures SharePoint Rethink and any other platforms are updated as needed
    5. Assists with compiling and graphing data to report on key performance indicators
    6. Assists with presenting data and information during management meetings
  4. Maintains own client caseload to company standards
  5. Responsible for assisting with parent relations when there are issues that need a senior-level position to intervene
  6. Assists with developing and maintaining community partnerships and effective ongoing communication with marketing department
  7. Coordinates and supervises special assignments as delegated by the Director of Clinical Services
  8. Generates new clinical initiatives on an annual basis
  9. Reports any concerns to the Director of Clinical Services

Supervisory Responsibility
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies. Responsibilities include planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; recognizing employees; delivering corrective action when needed; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a 40-hour work week
Travel
This position requires travel to all BCOTB facilities.
Required Education and Experience
  1. Masters Degree.
  2. BCBA Certification.
  3. 2 years of management experience.
  4. 5 years of experience providing ABA services
