Job Description:

What youll be doing:

• Specifically the Business Resilience Analyst supporting our FMI program will:
• Support our FMI manager to conduct research analysis and reporting on a range of operational and service issues in order to execute on an enterprise-wide regulatory mandate for Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) contingency planning in a resolution or severe stress scenario.
• Build end-to-end expertise in our global functions including key dependencies sensitive financial metrics and risk management strategies
• Developing testing strategies and tabletop exercises to build muscle memory in the FMI space
• Assist in preparing detailed contingency plans and reports as required by the regulators as part of the annual Resolution Plan submission
• Prepare detailed analysis of the Banks risk exposure to each market infrastructure historically and in future projections involving some financial modelling and risk strategy
• This role will involve continued interactions with process owners and the development of subject matter expertise on the Banks key areas of risk trading and operations relating to its payment clearing and settlement processes.

What youll need

• Prior experience working with FMIs or with third party management preferred
• Extensive knowledge of capital markets and market infrastructures (from either a trading perspective or an operations perspective)
• Outstanding writing skills with the ability to turn around material drafts quickly and effectively
• Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels
• Strong attention to detail with confirmed ability to process large volumes of information effectively
• Strong analytical/conceptual skills in economics/finance and financial products with an advanced degree in one or more of the following areas: statistics economics finance and mathematics is an asset
