Location: Ascott Gardens Central West Region
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Service Employee to join our team at Ascott Gardens. This role is integral to maintaining a clean safe and comfortable environment for our residents by supporting facility operations across cleaning kitchen and laundry services.
You will play an important role in enhancing resident wellbeing and ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation while upholding the highest standards of hygiene safety and comfort.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Cleaning and maintaining resident and communal areas
Supporting kitchen and food service operations
Laundry services and linen management
Ensuring compliance with hygiene safety and infection control standards
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Experience in one or more areas: cleaning food services or laundry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to operational needs
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Relevant qualification in services or food safety (e.g. TAFE certificate)
Knowledge of aged care regulatory requirements
