Job Summary

Mount St. Joseph Academy a co-educational Diocesan Roman Catholic high school in Rutland VT has an immediate opening for a dynamic and dedicated partr time Long-Term Substitute Teacher in Chemistry and the Physical Sciences. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty committed to academic excellence faith formation and the holistic development of to be Taught:Chemistry (Grade 11)Earth Science (Grade 9)Environmental Science (Grade 12)Responsibilities:Deliver engaging standards-based instruction aligned with school and implement lesson plans laboratory experiences and a positive respectful and structured classroom student progress and communicate effectively with students families and with faculty and administration to support student and support the mission and values of Catholic :Vermont State teaching licensure teacher licensure teaching experience or strong content-area qualifications in chemistry earth science and/or environmental to design and implement engaging laboratory and inquiry-based classroom management and communication to the mission of Catholic is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience or strong content-area work at MSJMount St. Joseph Academy offers an exceptional environment for educators seeking meaningful mission-driven work.
