What youll be doing

As a UX Designer youwill beinvolved in reimagining the user experience for Investors Edge self-directed investing platform for both desktop and mobile from concept through to launch. Youwill be responsible for creating intuitive engaging digital experiences for our clients by establishing a deep understanding of user needs designing detailed wireframes and user flows assisting with user research and communicating solutions clearly in presentations and documentation all while demonstrating UX leadership.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $75870 to $104320.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors including the candidates skills experience and job-related knowledge as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay compensation for this roleincludes participation in an annual discretionary incentive orbonus program.

How youll succeed

  • Deep analysis & research Conduct competitive analysis develop a deep understanding of the user needs through data analytics market and user research in partnership with our business product owners.

  • Design simple and elegant solutions Designthe user experience from concept design implementation to testing across multiple platforms and user groups in collaboration with our UX team.

  • Communicate and present design solutions Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Deliver design documentation and presentations to the project team development staff and senior executives for implementation.

  • Effective teamwork & collaboration:Work closely with cross-disciplinary project teams including business stakeholders product managers project managers business analysts and technology. Follow a collaborative iterative design process with our UX team (UI design content strategy UX research and strategy).

  • Knowledgeable about investing You arepassionate enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the investing landscape to excited to join the adventure of innovation and change.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience intheUX fieldwith aminimum of 3-5 years of design experience; as well as domain knowledge and/or keen interest in self-directedinvesting. You have a proven track record of coming up with simple elegant solutions for complex design problems with experience designing and prototyping in Figmaand knowledge of WCAG Accessibility Guidelines and how to design to meet these standards.

  • You have a degree/diplomaHuman-Computer Interaction Engineering Psychology Cognitive Science Computer Science UX Design Interaction Design or a related field.

  • Youre digitally savvy.You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends.
