About the Role
As an Operations & Maintenance Coordinator you will report to the Hub Production Manager at Quakers Hill and St Marys with oversight across additional sites. You The role places strong emphasis on maintaining the highest safety and quality standards ensuring full compliance while protecting people assets and the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with maintenance providers and contractors providing disciplined oversight of performance risk and delivery.
- Maintain clear visibility of costs downtime and asset lifecycle considerations.
- Make practical well-informed decisions that maximise the value of time effort and resources invested while optimising asset reliability and process availability.
- Encourage a continuous improvement mindset seeking and implementing practical recommendations that promotes overall outcomes over time.
About You:
In addition to tertiary or trade qualifications in an engineering or science based discipline and experience with Maintenance in the water water treatment or similar process industry we are also looking for:
- Safety and Quality Focus: Maintain strong safety quality and compliance standards protecting people assets and the environment.
- Relevant Industry Experience: Minimum five years experience in a fast-paced maintenance or operations environment with planning responsibilities.
- Work Coordination Across Teams: Ability to coordinate and prioritise work effectively across multiple teams and operational sites.
- Planning and Prioritisation: Demonstrated ability to plan schedule and prioritise work across multiple sites in changing environments.
- Performance and Delivery Oversight: Oversee contractors and service providers managing risk and ensuring safe efficient quality outcomes.
- Value-Focused Decision Making: Maintain visibility of costs and downtime making practical decisions to maximise value of effort and resources.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Identify improvement opportunities and recommend practical actions to strengthen safety quality and performance.
- Systems and Tools Capability: Experience using planning tools scheduling systems SCADA Microsoft Office and customised operational software.
