Allied Steel Buildings Inc. is seeking a qualified Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will work to ensure compliance with financial and operational policies and procedures assuring accurate and timely financial transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Responsibilities:
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Sales Tax Compliance
Fixed Asset Depreciation Reporting
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
Intercompany Transactions
Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Building Project Post Mortem
Perform Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Reviews to ensure accuracy of financial data
Detailed Operating Expenses review
Support Annual Budget preparation
Benefit Bill Reconciliations/Payments
Administrative Support for Finance and Project Operations
Annual 1099 Preparation
Performs other related duties as assigned that support the finance departments objectives.
Adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase departmental efficiency.

Required Skills:
Qualifications: 1-3 years of previous experience in accounting or related field Bachelors degree in accounting or related field Experience using accounting and CRM software Experience using Google Workplace software; including Sheets Docs Drive etc. Detail-oriented and diligent in ensuring compliance and accuracy Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial statements Experience in collecting and analyzing financial data Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills both independently and in a team environment Allied is an equal-opportunity employer.
