Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented CRM Data Quality Specialist to support a time-bound data cleanup initiative across SugarCRM and HubSpot. This role will focus on identifying reviewing and merging duplicate contact and company records in both systems while strictly following a defined set of business rules and data governance standards.
This position requires comfort working directly in multiple CRMs applying consistent merge logic at scale and maintaining a high level of accuracy across high-volume rule-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Review and resolve duplicate contact and company records in SugarCRM and HubSpot
Execute record merges in both platforms according to pre-defined business rules
Determine primary (surviving) records using documented merge criteria
Preserve critical data fields activity history and relationships during merges
Identify exceptions conflicts or edge cases and escalate as needed
Track work completed and maintain clear audit documentation
Perform post-merge quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with project leads to clarify rules priorities and volume targets
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience working in SugarCRM and/or HubSpot (both preferred)
Prior experience with CRM data cleanup de-duplication or record merging
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex rule-based processes
Experience handling high-volume repetitive data operations with consistency
Ability to interpret and apply written business rules with minimal supervision
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for tracking and QA
Strong time-management skills and ability to meet production targets
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience merging records in both SugarCRM and HubSpot
Familiarity with CRM data models (contacts companies/accounts activities)
Experience working on short-term or project-based data initiatives
Understanding of CRM data governance or master data management concepts
Success Metrics
Volume of records reviewed and merged per day/week
Accuracy and adherence to defined merge rules
Low error or rework rate
Clear documentation of decisions and escalated exceptions
