Position Overview
Open Loop Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Provider Credentialing and Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting provider recruitment by managing all aspects of credentialing and onboarding. It is a concierge-style position requiring exceptional organizational skills meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a seamless experience for new providers.
Key Responsibilities
Credentialing Management
Coordinate the credentialing process for new providers ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Collect review and verify provider credentialing applications for completeness and accuracy.
Liaise with external agencies insurance companies and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary documentation.
Monitor application status track progress and proactively follow up to expedite credentialing.
Onboarding Support
Act as the primary point of contact for new providers throughout the onboarding process.
Collaborate with internal teams including HR IT and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Schedule and coordinate orientation sessions and training programs for new providers providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
Documentation Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider credentials licenses certifications and related documentation.
Develop and maintain a centralized tracking system or database for easy access to provider information.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality policies when handling sensitive provider information.
Requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in healthcare credentialing provider onboarding or a related administrative role.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare is preferred.
