Job Summary:
In this role you will actively partner with design teams to identify risks early influence design improvements and ensure robust product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Create edit and validate Reliability Block Models using ReliaSoft tools (Weibull BlockSim XfRACAS).
Develop and execute reliability test plans based on failure physics and scientific test design principles.
Lead and facilitate FMEA activities and reliability modeling efforts.
Evaluate materials components and manufacturing techniques from a reliability perspective.
Design accelerated life tests and develop new acceleration methodologies.
Analyze reliability data and provide statistically sound recommendations.
Drive root cause discussions and recommend design or process improvements.
Partner closely with mechanical electrical and systems engineering teams across 34 programs.
Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Physics Material Science or related engineering field.
5 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of:
o Reliability best practices
o Failure physics & materials science
o Accelerated testing methods
o FMEA and reliability block modeling
Experience using ReliaSoft (Weibull BlockSim XfRACAS) or similar reliability tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or E-beam systems would be a plus.
