CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Specialist to join a chemical manufacturing company based in Derbyshire on a temporary basis. This position will provide assistance with day to day EHS within a leading Semiconductor and Electronic Materials manufacturing company in process safety.
The salary is equivalent to 40000 per annum.
The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals and materials supplying to many companies worldwide.
Your main duties will be:- Develop implement and manage programs and processes
- Provide guidance leadership and technical support to facilities
- Lead the implementation and direction of EHS programs
- Implement and conduct audit and risk assessment programs
- Provide support on recurring environmental compliance obligations including compliance recordkeeping reporting testing etc
- Develop and maintain relationships with operating plant / facility staff that support a collaborative model of providing EHS support.
Your Background:- Minimum of 2 years experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
- A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Good expertise in environmental and waste management.
- Proven experience in incident investigation.
- The ability to quickly integrate and perform effectively as this is not a junior-level role.
