Job Summary

Under clinical supervision assists in the delivery of patient care and treatment according to policies and procedures and Logan Health MAU/UAP scope of practice. Provides administrative support and works collaboratively with Physicians Advanced Practice Clinicians RNs LPNs and other department staff to meet the physical psychosocial education and spiritual needs of the patient and family. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission vision and values of Logan Health.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Greet prepare and room patientscollecting medical history and vital signs to set the tone for a smooth visit.

  • Prepare exam rooms and necessary suppliesensuring efficiency and a calm environment for both patient and provider.

  • Assist with minor proceduressuch as suture/staple removal dressing applications reproductive health procedureswithin your scope.

  • Draw lab specimens conduct point-of-care testing and accurately update patient charts and records.

  • Provide administrative and logistical supporthandling referrals authorizations appointment confirmations and billing assistance.

What You Bring to the Table

  • CredentialedHolding a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) credential.

  • Preferred ExperienceUrgency and confidence come from prior clinical experience in OB/GYN or womens health. CPR certification familiarity with anatomical lab and regulatory knowledge is a plus.

  • Soft SkillsCompassion attention to detail adaptability and strong communication are essential to connect with and support patients and team effectively.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
