Come join our team! Mobius is seeking an AEGISMissile Software Engineer. In this role you will collaborate with a highly skilled missiondriven group of engineers activeduty Naval Officers and contract professionals who are dedicated to delivering advanced missile defense capabilities to the Fleet. You will work alongside some of the nations leading engineers and scientists contributing to impactful and technically challenging defense initiatives.This position is located in Dahlgren VA.
Duties of an AEGISMissile Software Engineer may include:
- Support SM3 Block IIA Missile Communications with a focus on radiofrequency missile communication components.
- Provide both operational and technical expertiseto integrate existing and emerging commandandcontrol systems while developing and documenting system architectures and functions within applicable Interface Control Documentsspecifically the GFC/C to Link16 interface.
- Deliver performance assessment and verification (PAV) support to the Systems Engineer for the AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office including developing PAV processes and plans and monitoring and executing those plans to assess and verify overall system performance.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience working on DOD or missile defense software programs
- Works Independently as a team member or leading teams/tasks
- Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Provide programmatic oversight of SM-3 Blk IIA Missile. Communications components development and integration within the Guidance Section (GS) and Kinetic Warhead (KW)
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience withAEGISWeapons Systems
- Experience with Missile System Software Development
- Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations systems engineering missile systemsAEGISQualifications etc.

- Bachelors Degree (STEM)
