As a key leader within our Integrated Clinical Services team you will be the driving force of our vital east region health centers. Youll ensure our centers dont just function they thrive.

Your duties will include:

  • Strategic Operations & Resource Stewardship: Directs clinic-wide priorities and resource allocation through data-driven decision-making ensuring all activities align with organizational goals financial sustainability and regulatory compliance.

  • Inclusive Leadership & Relationship Building: Fosters a high-performing mission-aligned culture by utilizing emotional intelligence and cultural agility to collaborate with stakeholders and lead a diverse team in delivering person-centered care.

  • Fiscal & Revenue Optimization: Owns the centers financial health by developing cost-effective budgets managing the end-to-end revenue cycle and identifying new business opportunities to ensure long-term fiscal viability and productivity.

  • Data-Driven Operational Excellence: Drives continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and staffing patterns to refine procedures ensuring all site operations remain efficient compliant and perfectly aligned with the organizations strategic mission.

  • Workforce Management: Orchestrates the full employee lifecycle from hiring and scheduling to coaching and rigorous performance evaluations ensuring staff operate at the top of their scope while maintaining a high-accountability culture focused on professional growth.

  • Cultural Agility: Champions diversity and inclusion as a core business strategy navigating complex group dynamics and cultural nuances to foster a supportive high-morale environment where conflict is resolved effectively and retention is prioritized.

  • Quality & Compliance Governance: Acts as a key ambassador and expert consultant to external agencies and elected officials ensuring all operations meet rigorous regulatory safety and diversity standards while championing the needs of the community we serve.

  • Program Innovation & Growth: Drives the evolution of health center services by evaluating current program effectiveness and spearheading new initiatives grant opportunities and professional advancement programs to meet future community needs.

TO QUALIFY:

We will consider any combination of relevant work experience volunteering education and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item or section is labeled required. Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration business management or related field. (In lieu of a degree we will consider relevant education and experience)

  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations management with a strong understanding of financial management supervision and quality improvement.


Preferred Qualifications/ Transferable Skills*: You do not need to have the following preferred qualifications/ transferable skills to qualify. However keep in mind we may consider some or all of the following when identifying the most qualified candidates. Please clearly explain on your application how you meet any of the following preferred qualifications/transferable skills.

  • Experience in an FQHC Environment

  • Experience leading and supervising teams in a Primary Care Medical or Dental setting

  • Experience with Epic electronic health records processes

  • Proven track record of effective leadership and team management

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration

Inclement Weather and Disasters - Serving the Public Even During Disasters:

Everyday Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather natural disaster or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses while typically there begins with a call for volunteers county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
