Roles and responsibilities
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identity upselling opportunities.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and providing product demonstrations.
- Implement sales strategies developed by the EOSS NA Sales Manager.
- Follow up on leads qualify prospects and convert them into customers.
- Prepare quotes respond to inquiries and support contract negotiations under guidance.
- Understand product features and applications to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Provide basic technical support and escalate complex issues to the EOSS NA Sales Manager.
- Gather feedback from clients and report market trends or competitor activities to the EOSS NA Sales Manager.
- Participate in local trade shows and industry events to promote products and generate leads.
- Work closely with marketing to support campaigns and promotions.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and report sales activities to the EOSS NA Sales Manager.
- Manage assigned sales territory ensuring coverage and growth.
- Schedule and conduct client visits both virtual and in-person.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service-related and/or engineering jobs.
- Demonstrated motivation to pursue and exceed sales goals with a willingness to learn proven strategies under the guidance of the EOSS NA Sales Manager.
- Strong interest in monitoring technologies for electric cables and pipelines with a commitment to deepening technical understanding through mentorship and hands-on experience.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel across North America (75% of the time) as required.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective Communication: Ability to convey information clearly and listen actively to understand customer needs.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify issues and develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Emotional Intelligence: Manage ones emotions and empathize with customers especially in high-stress situations.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently to handle multiple demands and meet deadlines under pressure.
