Job Summary

Salary Information:

Intake Clinician I: $28.02 -$32.07 per hour salary based on education and experience.

Intake Clinician II $29.26 - $33.64 per hour salary based on education and experience.

Role:

This Intake / Access Clinician position is a part-time 24-hour position.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in peoples lives Join our dedicated mental health team as an Intake Clinician where youll be the first connection for individuals and families seeking urgent emergent or ongoing support.

Working under the guidance of the Mental Health Program Director and Program Coordinator youll be part of a collaborative team focused on helping individuals of all ages access the services they need - whether theyre living with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).

What Youll Do:

  • Help clients navigate their first steps into care with compassion and clarity.
  • Conduct assessments and coordinate access to the right level of support.
  • Work side-by-side with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental wellness.

Requirements to join us:

Job Specific Requirements:

Three days a week (M-F); preferably Tues Thurs and Friday 8:30 to 5 pm with the possibility of working till 7 pm on Tuesday on occasion.

Qualifications and Experience:

Prior experience in working with persons with Serious Mental Illness Substance Use Disorders Serious Emotional Disturbance and Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities and experience in providing crisis intervention preferred. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with time limited deadlines for documentation. Must be proficient with electronic communication and able to work with an electronic medical record.

Provides office and community based assessments to determine eligibility for CMH services as well as substance abuse screenings referrals and authorizations. Provides Crisis intervention as needed and pre-screens for in-patient psychiatric hospitalizations. Utilizes the DSM-5 ASAM LOCUS Columbia SCQ and CAFAS/PECFAS tools in daily work.
