ROLE DESCRIPTION:
There is an opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable applicant to join the Fund Accounting BPA team in India. The prime responsibility of BPA team is to deal with business support system upgrades and development small change and major capital projects. This role involves development support and testing of the InvestOne and all its ancillary applications used within Fund Accounting business unit.

Management Responsibilities:

• Lead FA testing team in outstanding execution and delivery of services
• Ensure transition of activities into the group are managed and are successfully implemented
• Ensure reporting is developed & completed accurately and within specified timeframes
• Deliver high quality service to stakeholders by accurate timely completion of all assigned tasks and requests for information
• Organise workload and team members in an efficient and effective manner
• Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes / projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation
• Focus on leading and developing people through continuous mentoring / coaching
• Conducts the full performance management process and work closely with management on staffing decisions
• Functional Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze system specifications collaborate with project team to develop effective test strategies and plans.
• Formulate and Lead application testing strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and review results for SunGard Invest One and other Fund Accounting applications report and troubleshoot defects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Consistently demonstrates expertise in high profile projects and system upgrades testing for large and small projects/changes system changes and upgrades
• Demonstrate advanced subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agendas.
• Serve as a Change Advocate; establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams.
• Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes / projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation.
• Train coach and mentor juniors in the group
• Provide regular management reports and Operational MIS to stakeholders and management

Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a QA test lead or similar role for Fund accounting/applications
• Strong leadership management and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and manage and motivate team members towards the established goals
• Demonstrates strong experience in change initiatives covering areas such as Scrum Agile IT and product development; with a track record of accomplishment in complex projects and change initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) to interact and manage expectations with stakeholders and management
• Able to provide project management consultation and leadership to peers and others.
• A good understanding of the FIS InvestOne platform overall experience of 10-12 years and minimum 10 years of Business Analyst/ Testing experience and 2 years in supervising/managing teams
• Agile Scrum Master Certification ISTQB certification CCBA CBAP or other BA certification would be preferred

Eligibility for Internal Partners

• 3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.
• 24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
