Company and Job Description:
Our client is a growing JSE-listed mining group operating within the Northern Cape. The business functions within a high-volume asset-intensive production environment where financial accuracy control and operational alignment are critical.This role forms part of the core finance team and offers strong exposure to operational finance inventory management Capex accounting and IFRS reporting within a listed group structure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full month-end financial close process
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee inventory and production cost accounting
- Maintain fixed asset register and manage Capex accounting
- Prepare VAT submissions and assist with statutory compliance
- Assist with IFRS-compliant reporting
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- BCom / BAcc degree
- SAIPA registered candidate
- 5 years relevant accounting experience
- Exposure to mining manufacturing production or heavy industry preferred
- Experience within asset-intensive environments advantageous
- Strong IFRS knowledge
- ERP system experience
- Strong reconciliation and reporting capability
- Ability to work in a structured compliance-driven environment
