The Town of New Tecumseth is looking for a Recreation Services Analyst to join our rapidly growing team.

Under the guidance and direction of the Manager Business and Centralized Services the Recreation Services Analyst supports the Recreation Facilities & Culture Department (RFC) through the efficient and proactive administration of operating and capital grants department contractual agreements user fees & charges and the corporate sponsorship & donations program and the Recreation software system. This role is integral in the development and maintenance of funding sources tracking databases correspondence and agreements. Responsibilities include providing financial and reporting assistance and business analysis as required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain expert knowledge and understanding of operating and capital grants sponsorship & donations and legal agreement programs policies financial and reporting processes.
  • Supporting the management of partnerships between the Town businesses and funding organizations.
  • Relationship management influence and facilitation skills including the ability to work collaboratively with other department staff management elected officials external stakeholders and funding partners.
  • Advise and assist staff on the development writing submission and reporting requirements of applications and agreements. Assist staff to ensure obligations are fulfilled within the terms of the agreement including coordinating the preparation and administration of all agreements invoices collections and account financials.
  • Responsible for the administration organization and review of various RFC department agreements including services agreements financial agreements business proposals and amendments.
  • Develop and implement costing tools to properly determine User Fee structure used for provision of the Fees and Charges By-Law.
  • Assist with generating advertising sponsorship and donation revenue for the portfolio of RFC corporate assets including recreation facilities programs events arts and culture initiatives and other corporate assets and services.
  • Generate reports and analysis to fulfill regular or recurring reporting requirements.
  • Maintaining the usability and functionality of data analytics and marketing service software. Supports analysis of demographic psychographic geographic and behavioural data to help understand customers and markets. Uses analytical tools to gather organize and prepare data for review.
  • Assists in the maintenance and usability of the Recreation Registration Membership and Booking Software Systems.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration Business Management Accounting or related field of study.
  • 2-3 years progressive experience performing duties in the business-related field
  • Minimum 2 years grant fund development related experience
  • Valid drivers licence and access to reliable vehicle
  • High proficiency required in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel Power Point).
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in Parks and Recreation environment is highly preferred
  • Experience in securing funds through sponsorships donations and grants including developing policies procedures and best practices related to program management
  • Familiar with legal requirements for contract drafting and contract reviews. Capable of interpreting complex legal documents.

Salary: $68664.86 to $85835.85 plus employer paid benefits and OMERS pension plan
Hours: 35 hours per week 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday -Friday evenings and weekends as required.
Location: Town Administration Centre 24 Tupper Street West Alliston
Start Date: April 13th 2026
