Job Summary
Tomlinson Ready Mix is currently seeking licensed drivers for our Petawawalocation. The successful individuals will ensure that loads are delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Location:Petawawa ON
DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and inspect truck to ensure safe use checking fluid levels and air pressure.
- Inspect and maintain concrete loads ensuring mixer is operating correctly and cleaned afterwards.
- Deliver concrete according to schedule and communicate with dispatch.
- Clear and effective communication to ensureclients needs are met.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid AZ or DZ Drivers License
- Flexible workschedule with a variation of a scheduled start times
- Clean drivers abstract
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours (includingSaturdays and evenings)
- Must have the ability to work out of our Moodie Drive Plant on occasion as well
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working outside in all weather elements.
- Coming in contact with concrete and cement dust.
- Frequently climbing up and down from thetruck.
- Occasionally assisting with sweeping concrete down the chute.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The expected salary range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00 per hour. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
