Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer. In this roleyoullplay a keypartin supporting the Missile Defense Agencys (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production Team by bringing your cloudexpertiseto cuttingedge defense initiatives. You will help shape and evaluate cloud architectures guide solutions through design and implementation and collaborate closely with government customers and prime contractors. Your work will support MDAs M&S integration and test efforts across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure environments. You may also contribute to analyzing systems engineering processes to ensure the successful integration and performance of cloudbased capabilities. This position islocatedat Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL.
Duties of a Senior Cloud Engineer may include:
- Develop and review Framework Software in the Cloud (SWIC) requirements as well as Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents (ICDs) including those supporting the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) Ground Test Integrated System Simulation (GTISS).
- Actively participatein Agile software development increment planning for the FrameworkRepBox and CTM programs ensuring alignment across technical and programmaticobjectives. Responsibilities also include drafting and reviewing technical documentation such as briefings white papers and engineering reports.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of Framework RepBox and CTM Systems Engineering (SE) processes across the organization.
Qualifications
- AWS Foundational and Associate level certifications and/or Azure Fundamentals and Associate level certifications
- Knowledge of model and simulation (M&S) development
- Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) concepts and applications
- Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
- Experience in model and simulation requirements development
- Experience in model and simulation verification and validation
- Microsoft Office Suiteproficiency
- AWS Professional and Specialty certifications and/or Azure Expert and Specialist certifications
- Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models
- Experience with environmental models and environmental states and effects
- Experience with missile defense system (MDS) and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering
Education
- MS degree and 12years of relevant experience
Clearance
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
